Photographic Exhibition and Competition - Bormla Local Council 2014 

 

The Bormla Local Council, in conjunction with the Malta Photographic Society, is organizing an exhibition and photographic competition with the theme “Bormla and the Bormlizi” during an activity which is to be held in Bormla on Sunday, 5th October 2014 between 9.00am and 12.00 (noon)

Outing to Gozo - March 2014

On Wednesday, 19th March, the MPS will be organising an outing to Gozo with great opportunities to shoot memorable photos while visiting our sister island and enjoying a day with fellow photographers.This outing is for paid up members of the Malta Photographic Society only!

World Phototgraphy Day - 2013 

 

Verdala Shoot

On Sunday, August 18th, the MPS will be celebrating the World Photography Day in style with a photoshoot entitled "Dolls of the World". The shoot is open to MPS memebrs and all photography enthusiasts. San Anton Gardens will be used as a backdrop for this year's event. The event will start at 09:00 and will finish at 12:00.

Shooting Glass

 

Alan CarvilleThe second Workshop in 2013, will be held on Saturday 23rd March, 2013 at the Hilton Hotel. This workshop will be about Shooting Glass and will be delivered by Alan Carville. The price of the workshop is €30. Bookings will be accepted against payments from the 10th January, 2013. Coffee break and lunch will be included in the price. There will be ample time for hands on during the workshop. MPS paid up members will take priority and 50 places will be available for this workshop. Workshop starts at 09:00 and will finish at around 15:00.

This workshop will be about Close-Up Photography and will be delivered by Guido Bonett. The price of the workshop is €30. Bookings will be accepted against payments from the 10th January, 2013. Coffee break and lunch will be included in the price. There will be ample time for hands on during the workshop. MPS paid up members will take priority and 50 places will be available for this workshop. This workshop will be about High and Low Key Portraiture and will be delivered by Ramon Sammut. The price of the workshop is €30. Verdala Photoshoot 

 

Verdala Shoot

On Saturday, January 19th, the MPS will be organizing its first photo shoot for 2013. Verdala Palace in Buskett will be used as a backdrop for this event which includes the participation of models. The event will start at 10.00am and finishes at around 4.00pm. Booking and a fee of €10 can be effected on Thursday 10th January at the MPS premises. The fee includes a snack for participant who must be MPS members.
